Fee-Free Training Program
Are you passionate about working with children and making a difference in their lives? Do you want to earn a nationally recognised qualification in childcare while getting paid for your training? If yes, then our childcare training program is perfect for you!
Our childcare training program is a unique opportunity for you to complete your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care before you start your dream job. You will learn from experienced and qualified educators, gain practical skills and knowledge, and work with children of different ages and stages.
What We Offer
- Paid training hours: You will receive $150 per day for 6 hours of training, 3 days a week, for 8 months.
- Flexible locations: We have four childcare centres across Junee, Kiewa, Leeton, and Corowa. We are currently looking for 5 trainees per town to join our program as soon as possible.
- Professional assessment: At the end of your training, you will work in either Albury or Junee for 3 weeks to be assessed by our team and receive your certificate.
- Ongoing support: You will have access to a Training and Development Officer from ECTARC, a leading provider of distance education in childcare, who will guide you through your coursework and answer any questions you may have.
What You Need
- A passion for childcare: You must love working with children and have a genuine interest in their development and wellbeing.
- A commitment to learning: You must be willing to complete 15 units of competency and a first aid course as part of your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. You can find more information about the course here.
- A readiness for work placement: You must be able to complete 160 hours of work placement in our childcare centres, covering different age groups and learning environments.
Further Details
- First, you must successfully pass the interview stage.
- You must complete your course within six months (or earlier)
- For the paid program to continue, you must meet course requirements and satisfactorily pass key exams within the course.
- You desire to transition your completed qualification into immediate work with the Junee Kids Early Learning team.
- You understand that any course fees are to be refunded if employment is not pursued with Leeton Kids Early Learning (Authority to be signed)
